Tough Week

This past week has been one for the record books! I really thought I might loose it at least two times! HA.HA.HA. It actually started last week, when we took James Henry to the Dr to find out he had a respiratory virus. That was on Monday, and on Tuesday Luke Harris started running fever. By Friday we were all fever free, and then Saturday morning gets here and Lucy started running fever. We went to after hours on Saturday, and Sunday and they thought that she just had the same virus that the boys had. On Monday of this week, we went to see Dr Edwards. They tested her for the RSV virus, and sure enough thats what it was! Thats right RSV and she is not even five weeks old! SCARY! Thank goodness it was not very bad yet, and we were able to come home with breathing treatments four times a day, and we did not have to go to the hospital.

When we got home, James Henry's nose was still running like a water hose, and Luke Harris was complaining with his ear hurting. My mom was coming up to help with the kiddos, and told me to go ahead and make them appointments to get checked out just in case! So glad that I did that, because little did I know, James Henry and Luke Harris both had ear infections, and James Henry has the RSV virus also, and we are doing breathing treatments with him as well! UGH!!!! When it rains it pours at the Robinson house!

Thank the good Lord, the kids are taking their breathing treatments so well! James Henry calls it his smoke mask, and pretends he is a fireman. I will post some pictures later.

Since all of this has happened, Luke and I have had to make a hard decision about the boys and school. We have decided to pull them out of MMO until next year. Dr Edwards has talked with us about how low Baby Lucy's immune system will be after having this RSV, and we feel like we can not risk the boys bringing home anything else for her to catch! I can only pray that we have done the right thing for our little family!

Here are some pictures of the boys from their last party at school.

James Henry and his friend Hannah, he talks about her all the time!

Luke Harris and his "buddy" Judson.
He was telling me not to take his picture! He is getting to be so sassy!

Luke Harris was saying cheese and then said, " I really have cheese in my mouth Mama!"

Sleepy baby!

This week has been a rough one, to say the least! James Henry and Luke Harris have had a respiratory virus. They have had fever, a cough that sounds like they have been smoking for years, AWFUL runny noses, and have just felt bad! This all started on Sunday night, and I hope we are finally getting over it. I have tried so hard to keep baby Lucy in a different room from the boys, and have washed all of our hands until they are raw! All we need to top things off is for Lucy at four weeks old (Yes, I said Four, time flies, and that is all I am going to say because it upsets me that my baby is growing that fast!) to get this virus, and have to be put in the hospital.
The boys have not been their usual playful selves! They have slept so much. I put a movie on for them in LukeHarris' room and they were laying in his bed watching it today, when I noticed that James Henry was very quiet. Quiet usually equals trouble! When I walked in, this is what I found! So of course I grabbed my camera before I moved him to his bed!

Luke Harris and Kermit

Luke Harris and James Henry both have such a good time with Kermit the dog, but oh do they fight too! Kermit really thinks he is one of the kiddos! If we have company over, he has to see them, and when Luke gets home from work the dog meets him at the door just like the boys do! that being said, this was what Luke Harris came up to me and said this morning. "Mama, how do I get Kermit to listen to me and do what I say? Do I have to bark at him or growl?"
